Lyndon came to me with the idea of creating a fully immersive set, where the printed design would help to obscure corners and create a sense of "panorama" and "Trippiness". In this set, AJ Tracey would need to move unobstructed whilst performing.
Working hand in hand we conceived and developed the 'candy cane' wave approach as a design element that could fulfil the requirements of obscuring edges whilst drawing inspiration from the Cat in the Hat's Hat.
Installation and filming went off without a hitch.
